2004 CARP NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The CARP BC Society is hosting the 2004 National Conference and Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals on May 13 & 14 at the Hotel Grand Pacific in Victoria, BC. They will introduce a new format to this year's program to provide participants with extended and complete training.

Dr. Brian Little, Dr. Bill Borgen and Dr. Pippi Lewington are some of the dynamic presenters who will challenge, equip and inspire you in your work. Come network and acquire new perspectives and wisdom to better serve your clients.

POST CONFERENCE

From 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on Saturday, May 15, The Canadian Assessment, Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Society (CAVEWAS) will hosting an intensive post -conference workshop entitled “ Testifying in Court”. It will blend a lecture about courtroom procedures and strategies with hands-on demonstrations and group exercises to increase skills which will enhance the effectiveness of both novice and experienced human service professionals in court. Dr. Stanley Brodsky, Ph. D., considered by many to be the nation's premiere expert on courtroom testimony, is Professor of Psychology at the University of Alabama where he coordinates the Psychology - Law PhD concentration.

Conference: $ 300 for Members / $ 375 for Non-Members

Post-Conference: $ 200 for Members and Non-Members
